educate students on self-empowerment, equip them with the tools to navigate life’s challenges; build teacher skills to influence and foster empowerment

community classes and social events to create informed parents who actively participate in their child’s development and contribute to a connected community
Bri Smith
Founding Pres. & Director
Bri has degrees in Education and Human Resources Management and works for the world’s largest Fortune 500 corporation. With a passion for improving processes and experiences, she hopes to use her skills in leadership to better public mental health – ultimately making the world a bit better for her family’s future.
Jennifer (Jenn) Henry Davis
MS, LPC
Treasurer & Mental Health Advisor
Jenn has over 25 years of experience working exclusively with children and families in child welfare, developmental disabilities, and children and adult mental health disorders. With a Bachelor’s in Child and Family Development and a Master’s in Guidance and Counseling, Jenn hopes to use her education and skills to enhance the lives of children and families, starting in Barry County.
Rhi Miller
Secretary & Events Manager
With a degree in Hospitality and Events Management + 10 years experience in the food and beverage industry, Rhi is the face for all fundraising affairs and celebrations. Expect to see her at internal and external events as the warmest welcome and the brains behind the operations, all while managing scheduling for executive level leaders at her day job.
Dylan Smith
Vice President & Groundskeeper
Dylan is a Barry County Native, a loving dad of 4, and a professional welder working for a global leader in manufacturing quarry systems. An expert in autonomous childhood learning, he is creating and bringing to life the dream of Safe Self Society’s first physical center.
